Like everyone else, we've got some fine print! By using QuoteMonster, you accept these terms of use.

Quotemonster is provided by Quality Product Research Limited. These terms are dated 1 Oct 2019.

These Terms of Use must be considered as a whole with the Privacy Policy and QPR Terms as below.

Term and Termination
Services start once subscription successfully completed on the subscription page. You may cancel the services through the subscription page at any time at which point the service will terminate.

Services are available for minimum commitment of one (1) month or other agreed term as indicated in your order with subscriptions paid in advance. Services will auto renew for an additional one (1) month or other term (as applicable), unless you cancel prior to the end of the then current term.
Fees
You agree to pay the fees and charges for the Services as outlined in the subscription process and that appear on the Site, which may be amended from time to time. For any extension of a subscription term or the provisioning of a Service upgrade, the then-current price will apply, unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing by the Parties. QPR, may, from time to time, in its sole discretion, change the fees it charges for the Service. Any increase in the fees will take effect at the beginning of User's next subscription term. QPR will notify you of any such changes by updating the Site or sending notice by e-mail.
Accuracy of quotes
We strive to ensure our quotes are as accurate as possible, however keep in mind that they are not guaranteed and don't replace the insurers' own illustration software. Also, while we aim to avoid them, errors can occur. If they do, we will fix them as quickly as possible, but we accept no liability for any inaccuracy in our quotes.

Your saved data
We are committed to keeping data stored on QuoteMonster as safe and secure as possible. Our site is hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, and we have rigid internal guidelines to protect your information.

We regularly review our security processes and recommend that you do the same. By keeping your passwords and usernames secure (i.e. not sharing them with or disclosing them to another party) and regularly updating your operating system and anti-virus software you can protect yourself.

Despite all of our measures, it is impossible to guarantee that our site is 100% secure and therefore we need to emphasise we do not accept any liability for any loss or misappropriation of your data from this website.
No advice given
Nothing on QuoteMonster constitutes advice or an endorsement or recommendation of an insurance product. By using QuoteMonster you acknowledge this and accept full responsibility for any information or insurance product selection presented to your client.
Your Identity and Email Address
We cannot provide information to the general public. It is therefore necessary to ensure that users are financial advisers or industry participants working for financial advisers or insurers. You must therefore supply accurate login details and give us a valid email address at which we may communicate with you. That may include periodically sending you emails about QuoteMonster system changes, events and news from insurers. We may ask you to verify your identity in order to maintain access to your account. If we do not hold a valid email address, or you reject emails from QuoteMonster, then we may close your QuoteMonster account without notice.

We are authorised to terminate your QuoteMonster login without notice if you do not register with a valid FSP number or if the FSP number provided does not match the name on the FSPR.
No Republication – No Sharing Logins
You are not permitted to republish quotes in any broadcast media, including in a website, data feed, or other service. If in our opinion you are republishing quotes we may terminate your account without notice.

You are not permitted to share your log-in details. It is important that the FSP number and name of the adviser on the research report are accurate. If you share a login you are at risk of breaching the privacy of your client data, potentially providing misleading information to a client (because the name and FSP details may be incorrect) or you may end up liable for someone else’s advice, if your name and FSP details are on materials that they use with clients. Contact us to arrange secretarial, administrator, or para-planner access to your account.
Use of Quote Reports and Logo
You can send QuoteMonster reports to clients and share them in the normal course of working with them. You can use the logo containing the words “We quote the market Powered by Quotemonster” in your presentation material and email signature while you maintain a valid account.
Device Usage
You may only access Quotemonster content on devices that you have registered with Quotemonster. If you try to access Quotemonster on an unregistered device, then you will be prompted to register that device when you sign in to your Quotemonster account

Currently you may only register up to five devices against your Quotemonster account.

You may deregister a device and replace it with a different registered device up to once every 30 days.

You may only access Quotemonster on one registered device at a time per Quotemonster account.

Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously, and strictly adhere to the Privacy Act 1993. Here's an outline of how we collect, store, and use your information.

Information Collection
We collect personal information, such as name and FSP number, when site users choose to register with us.

We also collect general information relating to site management such as Browser type and IP addresses. In addition, we collect aggregate information on pages visited, quotes completed, and information volunteered by users, such as survey information.
Information Use
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our website, provide technical support, customise the content and/or layout of our page for individual users, and contact users about updates to our web site and for marketing purposes.

Your personal information is not shared with other organisations for commercial purposes. This means we will not distribute, sell or rent your name or personal information to any third party. If you decide to identify yourself as a member of a group during the registration process then they are not a third-party - we may therefore share your name, FSP number, and email address with the group for the purposes of identifying you as a member of that group.
Sharing of Information
QuoteMonster may share non-personal, non-individual information in aggregate form with its partners for research, site advertising, or business development purposes.
Update Personal Information
As a QuoteMonster user, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, for restricting access to your computer, and you accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Cookies
Like many websites, we use cookies. Cookies are small text files that websites automatically save to the cookie file of the browser on your computer when you enter the website. We do not use cookies that access any information stored on your hard drive or damage, or otherwise endanger your computer. We use cookies to identify your computer when you use our online services and to track and assist your navigation around our online services.
Security
We have taken steps to ensure that your personal information is secure, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers, as well as electronic security systems and password protections that guard against unauthorised access.
